Today's guest was another gentleman that I got to meet whilst over at the International at Stoneleigh, Russell Jones was the judge for the apprentice teams and the individual competition and if taking the piss out of somebody was an Olympic sport, I would have to say that he and Danny Bennett would be nose-to-nose for the gold medal. I wonder if this has anything to do with their military training. As you'll hear, Russell was in the army as a farrier, and I don't know if Danny has ever mentioned it before on his podcast, but he too was an army farrier. It was an honour to meet Russell and to spend some time with him. He was serious when he needed to be as the judge, but he was also fun when we would all hang out socially afterward.
